Ryder Cup star Henrik Stenson is to host a new event on the European Challenge Tour, The Princess tournament at Bastad in Sweden on June 25-28.
Prize money will be 300,000 Euros and Stenson said: "The Challenge Tour has been of great importance to many players including myself and I am very happy to be part of an event that will enable players to further their careers.
"I believe that The Princess will become one of the favourite events on the European Challenge Tour and I am certain that it will help boost the interest among youngsters both back home and in the rest of the world."
