Sergio Garcia is back in the world's top 10 and is Europe's top-ranked player again following his play-off triumph at the Players Championship.

The 28-year-old Spaniard moved up from 18th to 10th, pushing Justin Rose down to 11th and Open champion Padraig Harrington to 12th. Both missed the halfway cut at Sawgrass.
