Annika Sorenstam's presence in her farewell event will be no distraction to the rest of a competitive field vying for the Dubai Ladies Masters title this weekend.
Among those out to spoil the great Swede's last hurrah at Emirates Golf Course will be South Korean teenager Ami Yang - and Sorenstam's compatriot Sophie Gustafson.
"For me, it's just another tournament, and I won't be doing anything differently," said 19-year-old Yang.
It will be nothing new for her if she does beat Sorenstam - because she did just that in the veteran's last tournament on home soil, the Scandinavian TPC in August .
Hard-working Yang, a three-time winner on the Ladies European Tour, has already won in Germany as well as Sweden so far this year and is out to cap her successful season with another title.
She finished joint fourth in the corresponding event in 2006 and 2007 and was second last week at the LPGA Tour School.
"I'm really happy with my season. I want to play well - but last week was a long week," she reported.
This weekend will be no time for sentiment either for last year's money list winner Gustafson, who nonetheless has huge admiration for her fellow Swede Sorenstam.
"I know Annika is playing her last tournament, but we are professionals ... we are here to win. I don't think the emotions will get in the way," she said.
"Annika has been the best player in the world, because she is very consistent. I don't think we are going to see another player like her on the tour for a long, long time."
