NEW YORK (AP) — Brad Faxon is joining NBC's golf coverage.
The eight-time winner on the PGA Tour will serve as an analyst at an undetermined number of events in 2010. The network said Tuesday the 48-year-old Faxon could work as a commentator at some of the tournaments he plays.
Faxon hopes that at least once he can walk off the course and right to the booth to provide a firsthand account. He says it "should add an extra dimension to the broadcast."
