Han wins Asian Amateur, Masters spot

SHENZHEN, China (AP) — South Korea's Han Chang-won won the inaugural Asian Amateur Championship by five strokes Sunday to earn a spot in the Masters.

The 17-year-old Han shot a 2-under 70 at Mission Hills for a 12-under 276 total. He also earned a spot in the final stage of British Open qualifying.

South Korea's Eric Chun (73) was second at 7 under.

South Korea's Kim Meen-whee (71) and Australia's Peter Spearman-Burn (72) and Jordan Sherratt (73) tied for third at 6 under.
